I won’t accuse anyone of faking YouTube numbers since normally that’s not the case, but Joe accusing Joel/Crook kinda makes sense. Those two irrelevant clowns using the Slaughterhouse name in 2022 and nearly getting 2mil views in a week seems odd. Then again maybe it’s legit and all this press/attention has helped them. Who knows.
If I was Joe I’d simply not discuss this on the show. The IG live was enough. My general sense is that the pandemic fukked those guys over, like many independent artists. Joe has the pod, Royce has Eminem money. They good. How does Joel eat? Then you got Crook apparently scouring the globe for deals nonstop…that’s not “I’m good” behavior.

Festivals are the highest level of all this shyt…well, besides an artist’s own arena tour. I’m not counting stadiums since only like 3-4 people can do that. Why wouldn’t artists take that bag, to perform on the biggest stage in front of tens of thousands of people. Becoming a festival regular is also super important to careers.
Wasn’t OVO fest the first artist based one, post 2010? Everyone wants their own festival but unless you’re popping popping you can’t do that shyt or cover the costs. Nobody wants to end up like Travis, cutting corners and fukking your shyt up. Shout outs to Cole for doing a great job with Dreamville Fest. And you gotta give TDE an L for never doing their own festival outside of the Christmas show they do. Talk about passing up opportunities lol…no one Kdot is leaving.

I think that’s their point; Slaughterhouse is dead. Joe and Royce were giving them the run around for years about figuring out a project. Royce said it was dead multiple times on social media and Joe said he was done rapping 5 years ago. All Crook and Joel are doing are giving it a proper burial.

Everything is a binary, but then they take wildly different positions before nonstop “I agree with you.
