Spin The Block feat. Ransom (Part 2): https://www.patreon.com/posts/spin-block-feat-57311914

Ransom elaborates on being an independent artist compared to signing to a major label and identifying when someone is meant to be in a greater position than they're in. The collective also speculates on how they'd react if they were forced to get naked while being robbed, pride vs logic comes into play.

I hear you, trust me...but rapping is not a sport, it has nothing to do with physical prowess unless we're talking about performing or something like that, so the age thing doesn't really apply. The reason Nas, or Jay-z, isn't as "lyrical" or whatever now as they were is because they have a million and one other things going on day to day that requires way more of their attention/focus than writing some raps as 50 year old multi-millionaires.

If they were just strictly focused on writing rhymes and making records it wouldn't matter if they were 60 years old, technicality wise there's no reason at all why they couldn't match or maybe surpass their greatest moments and be just as "sharp" and "intricate" as ever. There's a reason a lot of these guys first albums are usually considered their best one, that's when their life was all about rapping and getting their shot to be heard.

Someone like Eminem, I know everybody here hates him, but just on some writing shyt...that corny ass flow and them awful beats to the side, is still as great with flipping them words this way and that way and delivering them shyts aggressively as he was in 98...he's probably better now. Same with a Royce. Etc... shyt, look at G Rap, he is literally just as fire today as he was when he was a youngin with the pen. This shyt is still their life, to a certain degree.
the reason people consider a lot of first or second albums an artist best album because of the newest of the artist music to the fans

eventually most casual fans get tired of hearing an artist and the artist is left with their stans. This timeline is different for every artist

Rory and Mal Signed to Stitcher. Kinda Ironic, isnt' that the company Joe said offered him a "blank check" which he turned down and didn't even tell the guys about? lol

First off, you can’t just casually brush Eminem’s corny ass flow and awful beats to the side. It’s a part of artistry.

And his pen has been extremely mediocre since 2004. Modern day Battlerap is lightyears ahead of his pen for them dad jokes and weak ass punches to be his “strong point” smh

It’s white privilege that has granted Em all these passes for putting out mediocrity for all them years. Royce has been outperforming Em for about 15+ years.

nikkas out here just been pointing out the bullshyt and hypocrisy with Em because of his race which he HIMSELF has admitted to.

Shyt got nuffin to do with hate, let’s keep it a hunnid
Eminem's music is trash to me...and of course he probably would have never even went gold if he wasn't white, etc... All that's true. But his pen tho and how he puts that shyt together? That hasn't been mediocre since 2004. It got mediocre around that time, that's 100, he said so himself, he was crazy off the drugs and forgot how to "rap", according to him. But that didn't last. Check out "Relapse" and that will debunk that easily, the subjects and voice was stupid but his pen and flows were nuts on that shyt. And the beats were fire cause he let Dre stare the ship

That was Triller. But good for the guys. Will be interesting to see how they navigate two episodes. Dont think they can get by doing same format.

Good for them, but they barely have enough content for 1 hour a week so I’m interested in seeing how twice a week works. Their skits are more entertaining than the pod so I’m assuming they will lean into that and make longer skits to be a part of this
