I think I was naive to what it meant to really become an astronaut back when I was a kid, I saw a picture of Mae Jamison and thought “all I had to do was get a PhD in engineering” which in hindsight seems a little naive and I had way too many life set backs to really go hard with becoming an astronaut right now
I wonder if those sparkling looking stars with the black interior are Supermassive Black Holes?
I would think the lack of heat produced by the Black hole itself, while the massive heat produced by the matter swirling around it would give a stark contrast image of the event horizon of the Black hole when shown in infrared. James Webb will definitely be used to study Black holes, so maybe my conjecture is correct.
