No matter how you cut it terrible decisions were made on both sides. Biden's unwillingness to show a spine with Israel. And the left's inability to imagine how bad things could get with Trump back in office (both domestically and for Gaza).
I think some of them knew. Some of them like smooth mind actually want things to get bad because of accelerationist leanings

People are still trying to blame democrats for 70+ Million voting for cheeto? you touch a hot stove multiple times you deserve to get burned
Are the Democrats not a political party seeking to solicit votes from the public in pursuit of electoral office? Did they not fail in this endeavor? Unless your contention is that the Democrats actually won the election and Trump cheated (Blue MAGA?), then yes they deserve blame for losing, especially given this:

I don't know if you're speaking from the perspective of a member of the public or as a Democratic Operative, but either way, saying the public deserve to get burned by Trump is just cruel and pathetic defeatism in the name of defending the honor of Democratic Party elites who failed to do the job they willingly took up. If they have that defeatist, blame-shifting perspective in the face of an L they shouldn't have even run in the first place and should step aside for people who actually want to win.

I don’t care about whataboutisms. Any normal person that’s been a part of any negotiation knows sometimes you have to concede in the short term to realize a long term goal.

What in my post was a whataboutism? Can you even know what that means? You said the Democrats should not be blamed for losing the election to Trump, and the voting public deserves what it gets for electing him.

My contention is that you are very confused about the order of responsibility in a democracy because you have bought a load of crock from the people in charge who don't want to be held accountable for their failures. It's not the responsibility of the American people to vote for the Democrats, it's the responsibility of the Democrats to get the votes of the American people. The American people didn't fail the Democrats, the Democrats failed the American people. They are seeking higher office, no one forced them to run.

Nah, fukk em. He was waffling about whether brother cornel was the option after spending months shytting on people for supporting Kamala or any option that would not directly lead to Trump. He’s a dumb ass.

A day later and it’s already clear Trumps plan is dead in the water. Publicly rejected by the two countries who’s cooperation he’d require (Egypt and Jordan) and no chance that US troops get deployed in numbers that it’d require. Sorry to disappoint the giddy.

lest we forget
Lest we forget this Trump accomplishment too. Oh wait.

The 16-page report, based on the U.N.'s own monitoring as well as other sources, documented 24,300 new Israeli housing units in the occupied West Bank during a one-year period through to end-October 2023, which it said was the highest on record since monitoring began in 2017.
