Cool. The Egyptians are responsible for a lot of the mess in Africa proper and Palestine and I'm afraid we haven't seen the worst form of their intentions yet.

All I want to see is the Palestinians be able to have a country that isn't divided and constantly at war with Israel and Palestinian refugees from across the region be able to live there. Gaza in it's current state will never allow that to happen. This should have been dealt with after the disastrous 6 Day War. What the Arab world and UN have done is a disgrace. Israel isn't magically going to cease to exist or be defeated militarily and it's time to accept that. The magical thinking needs to end. In this thread there were dozens of people saying the Israel state was going to collapse any day now because of this conflict. That didn't happen. Hundreds of thousands of people dead and Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran were decapitated. Hamas releasing the hostages as they have with their transparent show of force with uniforms and vests that have never been worn and weapons that have never been dropped is going to give Israel and Trump all the excuse they need to kill more civilians in Gaza.

There’s a clear difference between asking countries to take in additional fleeing refugees during an ongoing war and suggesting the solution to the conflict is to merely remove the people there.

Particularly when you’re talking about the first weeks of the conflict compared to following a ceasefire which the group in questions were celebrating Trump as vindication for their Trump votes.
