That’s some crazy optics

So, it’s Bidens deal but Trump gets all the applause

What has changed in this deal compared to one in July?
Nothing changed. Just a bunch of but hurt leftist and opportunistic people on the right wanting to feel important.

What has Trump offered that Biden didn't @FAH1223 ?

They're praising Trump for negotiating a ceasefire by saying if they don't return the hostages we will start a regional war after 17 months of saying allowing Israel to do whatever was a red line.

These guys are just trying to win online arguments and ain't nothing but some lil bytches.
Foresight and introspection aren’t their strong suit, else they would’ve for saw the results on October 7th which they widely celebrated at the time. Very much ruled by emotion and internet brained tik tok culture where being able to dunk on the adversary in the moment rather than waiting for facts. At the moment they are scraping for any victory in a largely disastrous war against Israel and the west. Biden is a convenient scapegoat for their lack of strategic planning and fortitude.

That said, it’s going to be an interesting month

PA adamant in wanting to manage Gaza without Hamas, Egyptian source says - report

By JERUSALEM POST STAFF JANUARY 14, 2025 09:00

According to the report, the PA was in contact with the incoming Trump administration on the subject.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) is adamant to manage the Gaza Strip without Hamas, an Egyptian source with knowledge of the matter told Israel's public broadcaster KAN on Tuesday.

According to the report, the PA was in contact with the incoming Trump administration on the subject.

Egypt has been holding talks between the two parties in an attempt to reach an agreement with regard to the civil management of Gaza following the war.

Mistrust of Hamas

The source also reportedly told KAN that the Egyptian attempts have failed to persuade the PA to form a joint committee with Hamas.

According to the report, the PA's refusal stems from a lack of trust in Hamas and the terror group's attempt to destabilize the West Bank.

On Tuesday, Walla reported, citing three US officials, that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to present later in the day his day-after plan for the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, the plan is expected to include a proposed alternative to Hamas's rule, which would involve the Palestinian Authority and Arab states.

Ceasefire voters totally vindicated. My condolences to Blue MAGA posters who were praying that this would lead to further misery for Gazans.

Blue MAGA were wishing expulsions on Arab-Americans here and praying for Trump to sanction an annex of the West Bank AND Gaza, simply because Genocide Harris lost :laff:

That loss, that ether still burning :wow:

This confirms what most of us have been saying. Ever since the ceasefire in November 2023 that got 100 hostages out and Palestinian prisoners released, there was room for Biden to put his foot down.
No it absolutely does not. If a deal.is done, via Trump threatening a regional war it is completely at odds at what you p*ssy footing a$$holes been saying.

Mind you, Trump would not have stopped Israel from pillaging Gaza. He's on record supporting it and saying they didn't do enough.

You guys just are grasping for a win and look like fukking idiots.

Israel is unlikely to ramp down its military operation in Gaza when the temporary pause ends, experts say. Israeli officials have vowed to continue the offensive until it destroys Hamas, arguing in some cases that the campaign from the enclave’s north to the south helped the hostage negotiations by making a halt more attractive.

Yup. Hamas is willing to give up the hostages to end the war.

And it was a negotiated deal not through scorched earth campaign
You've been wrong throughout.

Is Trump threatening to remove aid, defund American assistance, etc as you said was the lever that needed to be pulled to force a ceasefire?

Or is he merely being more amenable to the same terms offered before, but accepting because he has his preferred guy in power?
