Unfortunately I've come across some circumstances that have me considering purchasing or rather updating an apple product. I have an ipod classic 5th gen, the video one. shyt so old that it uses a 30 pin connector. The battery was bad on it and I was able to order a new one and replace it and now transferring the music to my external hard drive on pc as a backup. Don't know how long the device will last and know its discontinued so im sure support is limited. I was looking at the new ipod touch. Likely the 64gb version since i have like 60gb of music on this thing. this the only apple product I own and would be nice to have facetime since there are some people like my mom and brother and friends that have iphones for that. every other mp3 player I see out there is ridiculously priced and android doesn't have their own. not trying to fill up my phones sd card with 60gb of music which I do have the space but would take up half the card. So figured I'd look into this ipod touch. Something simple for music and facetime. Is it worth it or maybe a previous gen might be better? What would be the easiest thing for a non iOS user?
I like using my iPod in my car better than my phone cuz I don’t need my girl knowing who’s calling me. I believe they have 128gb version
