Nope. I found that Google's apps (with the exception of Voice) are just as polished as the Android version. Here's my current setup:
Maps - Google Maps
Mail - Outlook
Search - Google Search app
Still rocking Drive and Docs too
Got a whole slew of banking and finance apps and not much else yet though.

16GB is too small. You only have around 10 off the shelf with the OS installed.

Yeah 16, 64 and 128. It's a fukked up strategy cause it forces people to at least get 64 when 32 would be good for most people.Those are the only options?
