There's a lot of neat little features in this it seems. I couldn't tell you about it though man.

Hangouts works well for me though. I like it.

Have you ever used it to send a text to a phone number? Doesn't see to work for me.

This is why I asked what kind of phone you got.
I'm on a Nexus 5, so it's running the newest version of Android. But on older versions, hangouts IS the new texting app anyway.

When I send a text, there's a little box on the left side of where you enter text. It'll either say SMS or have a green logo for Hangouts, you can click that and have the text sent either to the recipients SMS inbox or Hangouts app.

you could always send MMS, it would just show up as a link to the file

but with Hangout it just shows up as a regular text

Really? I tried sending an mms to someone and they didn't get anything. The problem I have with hangouts is that it only works with people that have hangouts. I can't just send it to someone's phone number.

Your phone comes with a year of Apple care so take it to the store should be like $80 to fix .

Nah but the only thing I miss about having a Jailbroken phone is the Tetherme app.

I think it's like $129. I had to replace mine back at the end of January I think
