iPhone is having Battery issues. Guess I'm gonna be forced to give up my ability to jailbreak till 8.1.3 gets hacked.

Yea my shyt acting up I was easily getting 14 hours with heavy use .

Now I'm down to 8 to 10 depending but that's not enough to give up jail break .

Well my phone keeps randomly powering down. Many times with 50-60% battery left and when I try to power it back on it shows the low battery icon. sometimes if I wait 5 minutes I can get it to power back on and other times I can't unless I attach the charger. I'm taking to the Genius bar Saturday so I'm gonna have to update to 8.1.3 before taking it in just to prove that's not the issue.

Charge your phone to 100%. Let it drain down to below 10%. Then do a FULL charge (like 2-3 hours past 100). You can find an app like Battery Dr. in the app store to help you. That's called a maintenance charge. Do that once a month. In between only charge when it's 40% and stop charging at 80%.

Get in that habit. Most battery issues stem from poor charging practices.

Also, BatteryLife in cydia will give you very detailed battery info including ho much charge your battery is actually holding in comparison to its full capacity.

I don't usually charge my phone unless it's 10% or lower .

this might be helpful since Im moving to a new pc

was just planing on starting from scratch but that list took me awhile
you can just copy your iTunes media folder to the new PC and use the same drive letter and folder location on the new PC. I had 2 PCs that viewed all my media on a NAS and they have the same iTunes library files and the iPhone would sync to either.
