i thought about it, but i enjoy my jailbreak to much. Might skip iphone 6 until its jailbroken. I remember the wait until ios7 JB was horrible.

One of the main reasons a fled back to Android and my iPhone 5 is basically just an iPod touch to me now. I copped that iPhone 5 and it took a year for the Jailbreak to come out. the iPhone 5S was already out by the time the 5 was Jailbroken.

I am on the fence now. I don't feel like deleting all my pics and having to set it up and restore all my contacts either. if I could do a simple upgrade, I'd do it, but there's not enough features to make me want it ASAP like I did with ios 7 last year when I copped the beta.

I was referring to if you update without having a developer account, you gotta do a full restore.

So far so good. iCloud keeps asking me to log in, and I have one app broken. But I like what I've seen so far in 10 minutes.



I feel you, these betas can be a headache and a half if you don't like messing around with things. I didn't have to do any of that though, I just synced my phone and did the update. Everything came over,

Edit 1: Hahaha I turned my device off/on and got locked out of the Developer Program. Update y'all again in a few.

If I used a jailbroken device I wouldn't go for the beta either.

Edit 2: If you don't register your UDID, you can use the beta. As long as you don't turn your device off. So either show some patience, or use one of the UDID registering services people are selling. (Or fork over $99 for your own developer account)

wait, how did you bypass the UDID thing without registering? what do you mean by don't turn your device off? I mean it turns itself off when u do an upgrade in order to reboot.

I mean that if you push iOS 8 on your device, you can use it. But it you manually reboot your device, you will be locked out and get an activation screen error. That's what happened to me last night, I used the beta for about 30 minutes. I tried restarting my device to get rid of the icloud sign in problem and was locked out, had to downgrade.
