So Apple is finally coming out with a man-sized iPhone?? I may have to dip my toes in the iWater...:lupe:

My biggest reservations are Swype and hotspots. I know they have a Swype like app you can install if rooted...anybody ever use it?

Are non carrier related hotspot apps readily available?

Root/jailbreak, whatever...I gotta hack it to do hotspots. Ok, cool.

What about Swype? You don't like it (likely cuz Apple didn't invent it and hasn't offered it to you yet), but I can't go back to tapping :scusthov:

I do hotspots via my iPhone and I'm not hacked/rooted. I'm just a basic ole tmobile nikka.

That's through a T-Mobile app or nah?

I know that since most carriers have gone to pay for data plans, they have hotspot apps and don't care if you use them, since you are paying per GB anyway (I know this ain't the case with T-Mobile, tho). But I'm grandfathered in to unlimited data with vzw where it would violate my T&C's , so I need an independent app.

It's gonna be hard enough getting used to browsing without quick controls and other differences.
