My bad, for the HTPC you're good with that. For some reason I thought you were buying multiple boards, one for HTPC one for a main rig.

Yea im building a server too

I got the Asrock Z77 pro4 for that

I dont even see the extreme on the site

If you are working on the H77M board it doesn't have a header for that so you don't need to use it. On the Pro4 board there will be 4 pins designated for it on the front panel header.

Yea it was the h77m but now im stuck trying to install the motherboard drivers and this shyt saying it doesnt detect a floppy disk :mindblown:

Make sure bios is set to boot from whatever device it is you want it to boot from. Does the HDD you have in there have Windows installed?

You have to install Windows, then the motherboard drivers once Windows is installed and running.

Put the Windows dvd in, set the bios to boot from the dvd drive, then when you reboot it should start the Windows installation.

That's most likely why its giving you that floppy disk error. It's basically telling you it doesn't know where to boot from since there is nothing on the HDD.

Edit: Where's the build pics, :wtb:

Breh i been lost as fukk this whole time, pics havent even been on my mind but I'll take a couple when im done
