stepping out the hyperbolic time chamber a bit just to post this mix lol...been practicing so much these past 3 weeks im legit starting to have dreams about beatmatching and crate digging lol.....thats a good sign tho...i always read about djs saying when they first started they had that moment where shyt just started to click...i feel like thats happening for me and this mix is a culmination of that...still gonna keep practicing and get better but i definitely notice the improvement...anyway nuff chat...here's the mix...no sync either all arm strength and elbow grease b

gonna do a jersey/baltimore club, ghetto tech, new orleans bounce and juke mix too...might throw some go-go in there too if it fits

edit:

need some real nikka critiques on this one

this muthafukka here...smh..if you only watch one part of the video watch @ 45:00

@1984 can you put me up on some good techno djs & producers? traxsource is cool but im looking for the real underground shyt

Word.

I usually find my tracks from listening to my favorite DJs on soundcloud or youtube but now I've been browsing beatport and juno download more.

I check out nodata.tv and electrouniverse.net for brand new tracks.

Also, I check out resident advisor for single reviews and find tracks labels and producers there.

When I was collecting vinyl, the best way to gain new tracks for me was to go on ebay and bid on record lots, good way to build up a vinyl collection. You can buy like 50 records for 30 bucks :wow:

Also, I've been checking out record store websites here in new york for vinyl like Halcyon

There's also nuloop I believe that sells vinyl online, you can check out clips there and look for digital downloads there too.

I also peruse youtube and go from the suggested videos on teh side...tons of gems to be found. :whew:
