Any of you have any tips on djing a house gig? I have been getting into deep house as of late, but still am very much new to the whole genre. One question I have is if house dj's play songs from various sub genres like electro, deep house, future house etc for their sets? I will be taking a dj course in the coming weeks so I'm sure I'm a long way off from actually finding my first gig. In the past I mostly listened to hip hop and indie rock, but would like to add house my skills. Andhim is one of the groups that got me into house music. I have gone back and listened to some of the old stuff like Mr Fingers.
