@*L*E*G*A*C*Y* What programs would you suggest to a beginner wanting to produce? I'm using the Ableton 30 day trial but I want to know what my other options are. I got a couple of ideas for some house and baltimore/jersey club tracks I want to mess around with.
Word? I actually thought that Ableton was better for producing House music. Anytime get to talk to a House producer and ask them what they use or read an interview it seems Ableton always gets name dropped. I'll download Fruity Loops and try it out though. I heard it's supposed to be good for beginners anyway. Thanks. If you're trying to make house stuff, with soe nice melodies and basslines...it would help to use something like fruity loops. Ableton is cool for effects and post-production, but there's only so much that can be done with it as far as putting in individualized melodies, basslines, drums, etc.

It's a House track with some club elements in there...besides searching for how to go from the pattern to song mode on FL I used no tutorials at all I just went with the flow and kept whatever I thought sounded good...there's some things that could be improved but I decided to upload it as it is...I downloaded FL yesterday and made this shyt just now...my first beat ever..all criticism welcomed
