One of my biggest gripes with South African house is the insular nature of the music. Unlike Afro-pop of Nigeria you have to go to SA to get the hottest jams. I'm in DC an STRUGGLING to get a whiff of the newest james.

South Africa as a whole is a peculiar nation. A lot of its culture is contained within its borders, save some of its businesses. Nigeria, on the other hand exports a lot of its culture through its people in various countries. I guess its because SA doesn't really have a big diaspora in the US.

Ehhh, lemme just plan for my next trip.
