Bought my first house in Tx last month. been watching a lot of content on fixing and etc and came across this

hack to pay off your mortgage in 7 years
I know it may help someone here

Is that velocity banking where you take out a HELOC and use it to pay the original mortgage and dump your paychecks into it? If so not sure I trust that. The only real way to pay off a mortgage in 7 years is to come up with the principal to pay off the house in 7 years and pay it. Debt shuffling strategies are just moving around debt.

the tree is around 30 or 40 feet,,, it's close to powerlines and shyt :francis:I would say$3000 should be the price , they would to bring a crane

:francis:

the tree should have been cut down before the house was even built:francis:

It wasn’t just for the one tree. That was to cut down a tree, grind the stump, and to trim multiple large limbs for trees that were growing over my property line/garage from my neighbor’s yard.

i can dig it. we had a massive tree cut down in the front, stump grind and haul off and all the additional trees on the side of the house cut down and them crazy bushes in the front of the house taken away. 700.00 AKA trees in georgia.

what state are you in? if you are a veteran man look for companies that provide discounts. my co worker had her entire backyard cleared out not too long ago for 5k

gotta have a tree removed :francis:$5,000

$5,000 is quite a hefty price tag for removing a tree! Here are some more budget-friendly options and some unconventional solutions:

### **Cheaper Alternatives**
1. **Get Multiple Quotes** – Don’t settle for the first estimate. Check with various local tree service companies, including smaller or independent contractors, who might offer a better deal.
2. **Municipal Help** – Some cities or counties offer free or low-cost tree removal if the tree poses a safety hazard or interferes with power lines.
3. **Utility Companies** – If the tree is near power lines, your utility company might remove it at no charge.
4. **DIY Removal (With Help)** – If the tree isn’t massive, renting equipment like chainsaws or stump grinders could cut costs significantly. You could also post in community groups to see if experienced locals are willing to help for less.

### **Out-of-the-Box Ideas**
1. **Sell the Wood** – If it’s a desirable type (oak, walnut, etc.), lumber companies, woodworkers, or firewood suppliers might remove it for free in exchange for the wood.
2. **Barter for Services** – Offer trade skills in exchange for tree removal. Landscapers, contractors, or even neighbors might be open to a trade.
3. **Turn It Into a Work of Art** – If removal is too costly, consider leaving the stump and hiring a chainsaw artist to carve something cool out of it.
4. **Tree Donation** – Some organizations take large trees for environmental projects or milling. They might cut and haul it away at no cost.
5. **Rent Equipment and Host a "Tree Removal Party"** – Gather friends or community members who have experience with cutting trees. Offer food and drinks in exchange for help.

unfortunately thats the drill. for what you said in another price its going to be fair. we paid like $3500 for a big oak tree really close to the house, and several other branches over hanging the house and then stump grinding for all of them.

the thing about multiple quotes is, is spending all that time getting multiple quotes!!
