Crew should have won best rap/sung performance...


Quite easily, throw on Crew and compare the reception it gets at any function compared to the others.

Crew is a real life organic infectious banger, not a payola driven, industry pushed, label manufactured record like Loyalty and the whole DAMN album, and I actually think Loyalty is a good song. Them D.C. nikkas deserved that Grammy.

I would have went with 4:44 for rap album of the year.

Bruno had big year. Jay -Z and Kendricks albums were great.

It seem like the winners were people who solid albums but mega success and charts topping hits. ( with the exception of Kendrick)

That is pretty much the way its always been. If its not on the pop chart or radio it gets ignored not matter how great it is.

This is why I don't understand the hoopla over so so didn't get an award.

There are still segregated radio stations.

The way it works is that The Grammy cut off for eligible is usually in September. So if you drop an album after that you have to wait until the next year’s ceremony. It’s why Taylor Swift didn’t get any nominations THIS year so she’ll up for the 2019 Grammys, where we ALL know the Academy is gonna trip all over themselves to hop on her dikk...

I get how some get rubbed the wrong way and view the album as pandering. Ignoring the over-arching pro-black theme, there's still a good number of "enjoyable" tracks on TPAB.

To each their own, though.

The beats and the features. There's a few decent tracks on it though. I kept coming back to it to see if I'd get the hype but it never clicked for me.
