Again as I said..ur cut from the same cloth those snobby ass cacs in the grammy committee are cut from ol "its not sophisticated enough" ass nikka

Lowkey ur the biggest product of white appropriation

Remember, there were no CACs trying to make black power music or making music like early Ice Cube, but they were in full force in the dumbed down era and even manage to take grammys away from us. :mjpls:

this is my first time hearing Macklemore.

He's talking about real life issues, so I guess that's why he's popular.

Not as bad as the Coli would suggest....at least from one song. :manny:

Ratchet music is the result of us dumbing down our skill level to appeal to the lowest common denominator. You think that ratchet music can match greatness of previous decades? :bryan:
The problem people have with you in this thread and others is you launch
into these ignorant sweeping generalizations where you characterize Hip Hop
as just "Ratchet" and "Trap" music.

Kendrick, Wale and J. cole all talk about very "real" situations.
And yet they aren't nearly as popular in certain circles as Macklemore is.
I'll put it simple most of those people find Macklemore to be "safe".
