if winning changed everything then JSU would have been flooded with money. yes they had more sources than before but that doesn't change the fact that there are traditionalists who would not want to see JSU leave the SWAC.

Deion wasn't staying at JSU man. If W. Kentucky would've offered him a HC job he would've went there for a year or two until a bigger school came calling. Deion was about getting to the FBS level so Shadeur could compete at the highest level before he goes into the league, and he did a good job. Great job. Some coach at another school would've probably ruined him by running an RPO offense.

after that, trump gave them nikkas 3 million. that is exactly what Mississippi Valley State is trying to do. Ain't no celebrity donating to the lesser known HBCUs, they always donate to the usual big 3: Howard, Spelman and Morehouse.

same band director. he was at Talladega when they marched for Trump the first time. i think he raised enough money to buy uniforms and instruments, provide more scholarships, and i've read that he was even able to remodel the band room.

this isn't the first time an HBCU band marched in an incoming republican administration's inauguration. Howard marched in one of GW Bush's, and there's been more. hell, MVSU played in Nixon's inauguration back in 1969.
