Guillermo Del Toro Directing One Of Final Three Episodes
De Laurentiis Company's April newsletter arrived a bit early, and with it, the names of the directors helming the final three episodes of Season 3 of "Hannibal" — including one we're rather surprised to hear.
"Shooting back-to-back, the last three episodes of the season are being directed by Guillermo del Toro, Guillermo Navarro, and Michael Rymer."
We had no idea del Toro had been recruited for Season 3 of "Hannibal," but it's certainly a nice surprise. The director is well-known for his work on the "Hellboy" films, "Pan's Labyrinth," and "Pacific Rim," and also helmed this year's highly anticipated "Crimson Peak." We can't wait to see what he brings to the new season of the Bryan Fuller series.
