I hear you. I found it a bit sloppy tho. Others mentioned the "killer of the week" theme the show has. I dont mind it and it actually makes sense, but its odd that theyd "close" that arc of the show so abruptly and focus on other, more ephemeral plot-lines without much closure given to Chilton's character (who is pretty important in the actual story of Hannibal)

But I cant complain too much.

I speed watched the whole series over the last week or so, and Im very into it

I feel you but I'm saying....what else did you want them to do with Chilton? As far as we know he's dead. A funeral scene wouldn't make much sense, none of the characters on the show fukked with him. The same goes for Miriam Lass, to a lesser extent. Nobody on the show knew her except for Jack....I guess they could've shown a scene of him going to see her where ever she's locked up, I dunno. :manny:

It wasn't sloppy, rather all very much done that way on purpose. There was no closure on Chilton because he's not dead. They kept it ambiguous for practical reasons, so he can come "back from the dead" again just as he did this season after what Gideon did to him in S1. And story-wise, they're not focusing on it because thats part of Jack and Will's plan. They needed to make Hannibal feel comfortable believing that Jack had accepted Chilton was the Ripper and that's the end of it. We definitely havent seen the last of him and probably not Miriam either.

heck of a health ledger joker impersonation by jimmy darmody :heh:

at first i was terrified im like don't tell me he killed all his dogs

and then i was like "ok cool he's just feeding him his face"

then i was like wait :merchant:
Definitely some Joker influence, but actually if you go back and watch Gary Oldman's Verger in Hannibal, its clearly an homage/lead-in to the way he played him too.

They're inconsistent about Hannibal's fighting skills. He was struggling against that random cellist but last episode he did the Street Fighter Guile sweep and was dropping dudes like nothing.

I think he was expecting to be attacked and had learned from his previous encounter wiith Tobias afterward he must have thought he was getting :flabbynsick: , they showed the samurai armor, I think they may have cut a scene where he was training

pitts acting definitely complimented gary oldmans performance, for those that haven't read the book, Margot becomes vergers new maid she also becomes a bodybuilder chick like chyna and turns dyke , shes actually the one who tosses him to the pigs, but not before shoving that electric eel down his throat and using a cattle prod to stimulate his prostate so she can get a sample of vergers sperm

Lol she's already gay on the show and she had been a huge buff chick in the book for awhile. I dont think they're going that route with her in the show. There's already been a lot of emphasis on the eels, though.

I hear what you're saying but this isn't like "Game of Thrones" where the show 90% mirrors the books. They changed major shyt in this show vs the novels, so spoilers are kind of a gray area really. The Freddie Lounds/wheelchair scene is a good example.

If NBC allows Margot to violate her brother with a cattle prod after choking him out with an eel, I'm out. I'm moving to Canada.
