Anyone use that cutty buddy? Ima learn how to cut my hair, and I saw that shyt

I cut my own hair for about a year a while back and still clean it up between barber visits.

The cut buddy helps a lot with getting a close cut on the curve on the sides. The front and back are basically straight lines so it's not too hard.

I'd also get the self cut system ($80). I got it 2 years ago and it basically paid for itself.

Also for growing out your hair, use shampoos/conditioners/products for natural hair. I.e. Stuff with out sulfates and all that.

-Pantene Natural shampoo/conditioner
-Cantu leave in conditioner
-Jamacain castor oil (the actual oil or a creme) to moisturize
-Curl enhancing smoothie (to make your hair curly if that's the look you want)

The main thing is to make sure your hair is moisturized daily.

7 years so far growing my locs:win:

Haven't paid to have get em twisted once:win:
you twist them yourself or you got free form?
just cut my locs had them twice since 2002 had them for 6 years then 7 years. Now rocking a lil fro , using the brush method to get it curly/coily. Once it's high enough will work on doing a temp fade on the sides and dfferent styles from there.

I'm pretty much in upper management, most white people don't get a fukk - they hated when i cut the locs off.
Why did you cut them

Maintenance and convenience and wanted a new look.

I use to hate getting them wet, they'd take all day to dry and twisting can mess up your scalp.

growing my hair out with a temple fade right now and this stuff works wonders, I could still brush my hair and du rag it at this length and it will still wave up with this, defiantly a great product for curly hair.
:salute: been using this for a couple years now, aint looked back

I don't believe anything that'll tell me that it'll grow my hair. Only things I believe in are proper maintenance and genetics.

With that said, I swear by this stuff now.
