Sooooo, I took my box braids down (they will be coming back soon) because I just felt like deep conditioning my hair. So for the next week I'm going to be stretching and refreshing a W&G.

So I do want to say, any girl that has hair that doesn't have a definite curl pattern you should try Cantu's curling cream. Nothing worked on my hair as well as this did. Hopefully the curls can stay up until about Friday or Saturday when I decide to co wash it.

At the beginning of mean streets
6th day hair, today is wash day. Shampoos, even the natural bars are too drying for me so I do an ACV rinse every 6-8 days and Co-wash with Aubrey Organics every 3-4 days.

And I deep condition after I do the ACV rinse with a mix of honey, EEVO, and lemon. I seal my ends with coconut oil (not that coconut oil with a billion other ingredients listed I mean the certified organic jar at Trader Joe's) and water. I do the LOC method which every curly girl should know to keep their hair moisturized. It's a leave in, oil, and cream.

My leave in of choice:

The Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter conditioner cause my hair be drier than the Sahara. I use coconut oil, or sometimes I don't bother cause the leave in already has a bunch of oils in it and I don't wanna make my scalp over produce oil. And finally, I just use my favorite moisturizer ever it's the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Smoothie.

I should probably do more protective styles but it's a motha to take it out in the morning and I've always been more of a wash and go type. I just add a bit of oil, bun it, and then use a satin wrap before bed. If I could find a protective style that takes less than 5 mins I'm game. I should be more patient considering I'm so natural I don't even use combs, I finger detangle with coconut oil before I do my ACV rinse but I don't be havin the patience to do anything besides twist outs.

Also sometimes when I don't wanna bother with restocking my hair stuff, I either "borrow" from my roommates (I live with a bunch of girls), or I just make my own leave in/moisturizer using a food processor. But again, I only make my own shyt if I'm patient enough (and not lazy) cause finding that perfect mix that fits my hair is time consuming. I don't believe in hair types because even though I may have tight curls I follow the methods that women with kinkier follow. That just works for me personally.

Actually, no not really. Then again I haven't picked my hair in awhile cuz I always wear two strain twists.
