Nothing to do outside of missions? fukk this look like? A Call of duty campaign? You have the whole city nikka there is EVERYTHING to do outside of missions

& there are random encounters like Red Dead had

the whole city like gta 4 where all you could do is shoot people and drive away?

not true, but there is an introduction into side missions. you can't just load up the game and have access to all of the perks, games, side missions. you have to make contacts to get into those arenas.

opinion about the characters arcs, and story so far

michael has the best arc. he's the guy that heads all of the heist so far, and he has access to areas franklin and trevor dont. i just unlocked trevor, and his story seems to be on some breaking bad shyt, so i already like that. franklins arc is pretty much more of the same. a black guy trying to get out of small time hustling to make it to the big league. i enjoy franklins story but it's typical so far. funny part is trevor starts with more expendable cash than michael but lives in a trailer park.

the map is massive, franklins area (south la) looks pretty blighted. then when you hit michaels area, it's the clean burbs. trevors area, i've never even seen it before, so i dont know how far out it is from everything else. trevors story almost seems independent of franklin and michaels story. it's like they took notes from naughty dog games as well. a lot more random events happen when you don't expect it. great motion capture movements and voice acting.

i've only played about 1.5 days and it's probably the best game i've ever played. i dont even think im 25% into the game and that's how good it is. my only gripe is how small the text is. i play from about 12 ft from the tv and the text is small. you receive tips and text messages from people that often go ignored since it's hard to read.
