Finally finished that 9 Pillars quest.
The 5* artifact you get is hardly worth the effort though.

I need one more sphere to complete that quest. I'm not even sure where I got the first 8 of them tho and no idea where to find the last one.
And yeah, you definitely should level of Xingqui. He's a beast. Funny enough, I being mostly FTP, I've not had as much issue leveling up multiple heroes much. I have like 3-4 that are level 70+ right now and another 3-4 that are 50+. Only thing I need to do more of now is get more talents up and more artifacts. I have a small handful of 5* artifacts, but most of them don't have the stats that I want to even level them. Such is RNG life.
Co-oping these domains and this new event is such a god send to run through them shyts quickly.

You get the spheres from levelling up the geoculus statue. So you essentially need to find all the geoculus to complete this quest.

Finally unlocked that gadget that lets you eat food mid battle without going into menus.
Word. I was wondering how you do that. So how do you unlock it? And is it a permanent thing or just something that you have to keep creating? It should've just been a regular in game thing tbh.
I just got it. You unlock it by getting your reputation in monstadt at level 5, then you can create it at the forge. I believe it is yours to use permanently. Most def should have been in the game from jump lol

Reputation 5 in Mondstadt. You add the food items you want to it and equip it. It’s permanent.

So brehs, who do ya'll use to fight the Oceanid boss? Hands down, the hardest boss in the game for me, even harder than the Wolf, cuz everything it does has such large areas of AOE and keeping you covered in water forever. Then, if you don't kill the monster forms quick enough, it does that draining, water attack that kills pretty regardless of how much health you got and there's no way to dodge it, as it's only avoidable by killing the creature mobs quick enough before it uses it. Probably even worse for me cuz my DPS is a Thunder Claymore user, so I can't fight from a distance, if I wanted to. Even still, it chases you down fast and have full screen projectiles.
The "best" case scenario I have on it is it freezes easily to cryo users, but none that I have (Just Kaeya and Diona) can keep ice out there fast enough or strong enough to keep up with this 70+ level Oceanid ass nikka. I've beaten it a few times, but it's the only boss that seems to get significantly stronger and harder to beat each time I fight him.

Oceanid is now one of the easier bosses for me after being such a pain. Y'all probably getting tired of me hyping up Fischl but she makes this mf a breeze, along with Kaeya and Qiqi. Fischl because of Oz and her bow for those flying a$$holes, Kaeya & Qiqi to murk everything else. I like to use characters with fast attacks to avoid being hit so much so yeah using a Claymore char probably makes this tougher. If you wanna make it even easier then take one of those Hydro resist potions, or Cryo damage ones.
What Bow/Long range characters do you have?

Yeah, I do just that, as far as using the hydro resist potion and even defense ones and that muhfukka is still a bytch. Raven the only that can put serious damage consistent enough and fast enough to kill those fukks before he does the one shot attack. I even try putting out Geo users, figuring they can build up shields to hold out on defense and Noelle literally gets washed out there, in the shield no less.
I have Diona, Fischl, Venti, Amber. None of them are anywhere near as strong as Raven tho.
