Is Zhongli Rex Lapis? This dude doesn’t care about money in the city of commerce, and he’s very knowledgeable of traditions and shyt around Liyue. Even one of the vendors didn’t know all that shyt about the silk flowers he was talking about. Also when Paimon and the traveler met with him outside of Liyue he was staring at the Geo Archon statue and said some shyt like you guys didn’t take too long, for something like this statue this was but a brief moment and Paimon was like well, how can a human/mortal compare to a statue? And he was like, you right and changed the conversation quick. plus he went to all missions with the traveler and Paimon except the one with the old lady that’s meant to be his friend, and he’s supposedly been friends with her for a long time but she’s old as fukk and it doesn’t look like he’s aged

The more I play the more I think he is. For example, right after the tea pot mission with the old lady, when you meet him again you get two dialog options. The first one is “do you know Madame Ping (the old lady)?” and the second one is “Are you an adeptus as well?” I went with the second option and he just goes “an adeptus? hmmm” and Paimon says “well, that’s suspicious. but if you don’t want to talk about it we won’t pry”. I’m 95% sure he’s Rex Lapis. Makes sense too if you think about Venti’s story arc and how he was running around without people knowing he’s Barbatos/anemo god.

Edit - also just ordered 7 kites that represent the 7 gods and he’s talking about them like he knows them when describing the symbols on the kites

and this is from a mission where Qiqi asks you to go after a ballista built by an adepti. When you get there the ballista is broken and he says he can fix it because he understands the working principles of the device:

The only worse thing is actually getting Gladiator and the stats are trash. I got a gang of them like that. Couple of them actually got good stats.

Also I've been having shyt luck on getting the prototype weapons to refine the ones I already got. Did Stormterror and the wolf yesterday and got zero prototypes. Did them again last week and only got the lance.

I just reached AR40 and did fought the Cryo plant 3 times (trying to get materials to ascend Qiqi) got a gladiator 5 star piece for a slot I needed, I was so hyped I even took a screenshot. Opened the shyt and the stats are super trash
