The beta has been going for months and Youtubers beat the hardest content with the base characters and gear they farmed.

this game model is inherently predatory. way worse than lootboxes but go ahead fam. theres a couple that have decent f2p models but this doesn't seem to be one.I'll give it try because I've played a ton of these types of games and use them as time killers at work. So hopefully you're right and I'm wrong.

Breh I'm not some new jack, I been gaming since the Atari 2600. Played this type of game too.
All I'm saying is people been paying full price for wack games since "E.T.". This shyt is free. Worst case scenario I don't like it, I'll just delete it off my PC.

They way folks hate these GaaS games, you'd think that the games would literally withdrawal money from your account after the game has installed. Pay shyt is always optional. You don't feel it's worth it to you, then simply don't do it.
I dunno man. I don't gamble, I might play the lottery once every 2-3 months. Don't go to the casino. Might buy a scratcher ticket 2-3 times a year.
So I don't care about that aspect of the game either.
Besides, the drop rate for a 5 Star character in this game is like....0.06%.
So it is what it is. I played "FFXI" for like 10 years and the drop rates in that game were abysmal on the harder content. But I had fun so
