Every thing takes a considerable amount of time to do. Get a new char, thats two weeks of grinding to get them leveled if u dont have fragile resins. The story is full of fluff dialogue you cant skip. Having to log in every day to not waste resin ironically made me not want to log in at all lol.
The QOL upgrades HSR should be in genshin but they arent. Cant do it any more

out of those my biggest complaint is unskippable dialogue.
i pretty much log in, get the dailies out the way and burn or condense resin and log out. usually takes me less than 10 minutes. but the unnecessary and unskippable dialogue has me dreading some of them quests

I have like 3000 hours in this game and logged in virtually every single day since August 2021
But in the past week, I haven’t had logged in and have no desire to
It just really sunk in, that after all the time I invested in hypermaxing my characters, combat is treated like an afterthought in terms of content.
- The msq is 95% dialogue with the same stiff talking head animations reused over and over again. Plus Paimon NEVER shuts the fukk up and ruins every conversation with her stupidity and shrill voice.
- All dialogue is unskippable. And trying to button mash through it all + traveling to the next npc just to get trapped in more unskippable dialogue feels like a HUGE chore
- Almost everything in the overworld dies in 2-5 hits. Only a handful of overworld bosses can survive a rotation
- Getting 36 stars in abyss in 30 minutes every 2 weeks is no longer satisfying + it’s not actual endgame content
- Because of the above, there’s not much of a reason to bother grinding 4-piece artifact sets with good substats if you ignore abyss
Dailies taking only 8-10 minutes a day for primos is fine. Outside of exploration, that’s one of the few things Genshin does that doesn’t feel like a chore.

Don’t be a fakkit.
A poster said they have issues with time investment in the game and I asked them what their issues were. They elaborated, I dapped them and agreed with their gripe about dialogue, and said I don’t have an issue with the dailies.
Somehow a normal exchange is causing you to be passive aggressive. What kind of time are you on?

The dialogue is a major problem with the game so I feel y’all on that.
I stick to the daily stuff and don’t bother with quest unless I have nothing else to play.

As someone who just started playing this game last year (I use it as game to play between games), I have a different opinion and take on things. Plenty of content to explore and deeper roster to choose from, in contrast to the day one players.
