I just unlocked Noelle and Razor.

Brehs put me on game: Who are the must have characters and weapons?? And what are some early game tips to get ahead??

Must have characters imo:

5 stars - Kazuha, Yelan, Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida

4 stars - Bennet, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Shinobu, Fischl

obviously there are other characters I think are must have like Hu Tao and Alhaitham but the ones above are the most account transformative ones imo.

Weapons:

5 stars - Staff of Homa, Primordial Jade Cutter, Aqua Simulacra, Mistsplitter Reforged

4 stars - all Favonious weapons, The Catch, The Stringless, Serpent Spine

same principle applies as characters, there are more but those are the most transformative ones imo.

Tips - build your teams around the concept of switching characters during combat and use their abilities to trigger “elemental reactions”.

Yessir

Although I pretty much just log in to do my dailies (takes less than 10 minutes) - and occasionally clean up any primos for events or Spiral Abyss.

Genshin is at its best for me when there’s new areas to explore. Enviro design and exploration and puzzle solving are my favorite parts of Genshin. I kinda wish they added a couple new world levels to make combat in the overworld more engaging.

Shenhe is mid

she’s a good support for Ayaka or Ganyu if you have them but it’s a really niche utility that’s fallen out of the meta. Freeze teams aren’t as strong as they used to be. I’d advise to save your primos for someone with more general use/application

Yeah, it's been about 7 weeks since I logged on.
Don't hit the same plus all these other games out now.

Just jumped on to see what was going on and then got the updated that RE4 finished the update, so it's going back to sleep until the new continent opens.

Anyone still play?

I still play, not as often as I used to - but I still log on every now and again. No real end-game hurts the longevity of the game, even if the devs want to hide behind "we don't want people to feel anxiety for/about end game". I get that they want the game to be easy and welcoming, but there has to be some sort of end game, and not just abyss every two weeks.

I'm currently waiting for the next area (Fontaine) and the new archon to play a bit more regularly, but yeah

Yeah they need to toss something unexpected into the mix cuz it's stale now. I saw they opened up the last section of Sumeru but I can't be bothered now to check it out.

I got pissed with spending like $70 bucks for the Dendro Archon just to get c1 and c2 Diluc and c2 Jean.
