You can go completely free to play and have an enjoyable experience but progression is extremely slow if you don't push some $$ at the game.

I am currently spending 11-12 a month.

The welkin blessing which gives you additional primogems (currency for the gacha wish system) and last 30 days. This costs 4.99.

The battle pass runs for 6 weeks and costs 9.99. this will give you a ton of resources for leveling characters and weapons plus a 4-star with a desirable substat (crit rate).

Costs nothing to create an account and experience it. Game takes up about 12gb on PC. There is crossplay between PC and mobile so this is my recommendation but it is available on PS4 and PS5.

This game is the most effective a game has been and getting me to spend. I played summoners war off and on for a few years and I don't think I spent any money on that game.

Edit: I was trying to quote the guy who was asking if the game is pay to win.

Is this shyt pay to win?

Depends on what you mean by "pay to win".

You can do all the content in the game without spending a dime.

Will it be easier and/or will you get cool stuff faster if you do spend money? 100%, yes.

They are adding other stuff like homes, furniture you can build, pets, etc. that are free. There's a ton of content in the game (it's updated every 5 weeks, roughly) so it's not as if you gotta spend money to have fun or access any part of it.

Xinyan and Xiangling :francis:

Damn that's rough.

Xiangling is actually a pretty good DPS though:

Can use Crescent Pike (craftable, free) or Deathmatch (low cost, from the Battle Pass). Crimson Witch set goes without saying.

Obviously a 5* weapon would be better and she's not gonna outdamage Hu Tao or even Diluc....but she'll beat anything currently in the game.

I haven't maxed Xinyan yet but I got Xiangling pretty high and yeah she's ass compared to Diluc and Hu Tao.:francis: Like Hex said, you can beat the game's content with her but it's a bytch. You still got a little time to try for Yanfei, if not then def try to get at least Bennett.

Also to everyone joining other people's teapots, be sure to also speed their furniture progress by going to the main pot shop. Just remembered you can do this.:myman:

Huh? Explain, what do you do?
Also that new Windtrace event is fun but I'm completely ass at it.:mjlol:

Fred.

When you're in another users teapot go to Tubby(the shop bird lady lol)and you can speed their furniture making progress up.

Yeah I keep getting caught in the windtrace event. I'll probably just AFK it to get resources, fukk it.:yeshrug:

Best advice I'd say is don't level every character. Level one main damage dealer, put most of your time and effort into them.

You can leave the rest of your party around 10-20 levels behind that character (for example, my main DPS are 90 but the rest are 80). You could honestly go even lower, 70, etc.

Your party can only have 4 characters so just focus on them.

The reason I say this is because resources can be scarce (not so much later in the game, but it's a problem early on) so don't worry about any characters past the 4 you choose. Not until later.

Also try to round out your elemental abilities. Each characters has an element, and when combined they have different effects. Electro+ice = super conduct (lower enemy defense), electro+water = electro charged (damage and stuns), hydro+pyro = vaporize (does massive damage) etc.

After you start playing if you got any additional questions definitely let us know.

You forgot about pyro + cyro, which doesn't that = Massiver damage?

That's what the "etc." was for. :youngsabo:

But I didn't want to list every elemental reaction if he's just now starting the game.

As far as melt vs vaporize melt does more damage in one hit (elemental burst with pyro) but melt disappears after you apply pyro.

There is not currently an ice character (maybe Rosaria, haven't leveled her yet) that can constantly apply cryo to carry melt an entire fight, the way Xingqiu can with hydro to make vaporize.

Eula in 5 hours :wow:

I need to win this 50/50 for my pockets sake :wow:

I dunno if I want Eula or not. Not blown away by the damage I'm seeing. :manny:

If people don't have a main DPS she will be good though.

My Hu Tao is 10/10/10 on talents with Staff Of Homa so I'm straight damage-wise.

I'm almost to pity on the weapon banner, gonna see what I get from that. I don't have the sword, so either would be fine. After that I'll roll on the character banner and if I get her cool, if not :yeshrug: I'll save my primos for a future banner.

Wanted to get yanfei real quick as I mentioned earlier I don’t got a decent pyro character. Spent some bread to get 15 wishes… got fukking barbara :mjcry:

At least my pity will kick in and give me eula

The next re-run is Klee also.
