Throw that bytch ass W14 into a trash compactor
I don't feel certain they know what to do. Nothing that they did with the car this last half of the season made me feel like they'll be back in the fight next season. Of course, I hope I'm wrong.Mercedes needs to come out swinging next season. Ain't trying to see Verstappen sleep walk to 5 championships and 100 wins.
I feel that they went in such a different direction that any development on this car would have been a loss. They had the front suspension change that probably gave them some insight on how to work the geometry for next year, and the floor changes went towards ensuring their simulations correlate with real life, but also checking a future idea or two. I'm optimistic with low hopes, if that's even possible.I don't feel certain they know what to do. Toto has no technical background so its gonna be hard for them to start from scratch. Ross Brawn initially led them in the hybrid era then he came in afterMercedes needs to come out swinging next season. Ain't trying to see Verstappen sleep walk to 5 championships and 100 wins.
Maybe, but there's only so much the TP really can do. Good bosses let their people do what they were hired to do and make changes when there's major problems. I don't think Horner had a technical background. They just happened to strike lucky with Newey . With Allison back in control then maybe they can right the ship. I'm not fully convinced that Mike Elliot should have been kicked to the curb like he was, but it is what it is.Toto has no technical background so its gonna be hard for them to start from scratch. I mean had been leading teams since the 90s so has more experience than Toto in that regard. Also I don't think Newey would work well under Toto as he might be too boisterous for him.Maybe, but there's only so much the TP really can do. RBR is so far ahead... Merc would need to catch lightning in a bottle. I'm hopeful...Antony Davidson says the new Merc car is actually driving like a car now in the simulator. Now that could mean anything, but hopefully it means they are at the very least able to get the car into better setups. Fingers crossed.
W15 verdict in: Mercedes driver delivers first feedback to Toto Wolff
Toto Wolff is keeping any optimism very cautious, but has been told by Anthony Davidson that the W15 at least "feels like" an F1 car.www.planetf1.com
Agreed. Trying to be optimistic.RBR is so far ahead... Merc would need to catch lightning in a bottle. I'm hopeful...
Good for them if that's fact but Red Bull had a whole lot of pace in hand and will probably retain that advantage this year. And apparently the ferrari is 0.7s a lap quicker than last season
