Ferrari have, I don't think Mercedes has yet, at least not enough for comfort. And if that McLaren pace is representative then that's going to be an issue. I was surprised at McLaren but Lando is like Lewis at Hungary, he just gets a random performance boost there. He's been insanely quick there every year.

Write this year off. Hopefully Merc is going to focus its attention on the '24 car going forward.
They need to keep developing this year's car so they can at least be in the orbit of the other front runners. If not they are playing catch up again in 2024. If they are 2 tenths off by the end of the year they stand a good chance next year, but they have to develop this year.
