So what does everybody have to say about the new Mercedes upgrades / car parts?
The sidepods converge towards the RBR and AM design but, to me, retains some mentality of the W13 and W14 by keeping that opening rather small. Probably won't be able to draw any conclusions until FP1 in Spain. Fingers crossed that the suspension geometry change brings better mechanical grip though - that's something that would be apparent this weekend.

Turn 1 was kicking Lewis's ass in P3. Either he's purple in that first couple of mini sectors or completely off, it's like no in between. Too much front locking to my eye, it's been a problem from the get go, hence the crash at the end. Surprised they haven't had him pull back the balance because it's a consistent lock in T1, T5, and T6.

Marshalls doing Mercedes dirty by lifting the car over the barriers. I guess it's good the new floor isn't on.

Matter of fact, dirty is an understatement. That car has been up in the air at least 5 minutes, floor angled at every photographer in France.
