Logan Sargent lol

Loving this format btw.
I'm trying to understand the difference based on watching. The only thing I noticed was that they're out for the entire session. Other than that it felt like a wet-to-dry qualifying session where they more or less circulate until the end.

Just a shorter more intense version of qualifying and race, trying to gain more viewers who might not enjoy sitting through a full race

Wake.
These sprint races need some kinda wildcard to mix things up.

I think the Brazil one the only one that I remember being halfway decent from a racing point of view.

Personally, I think it'd be FIRE if they did reverse order by championship standing and the points are awarded by positioned gained/kept PLUS the top three fastest laps in the 5th position or higher.

The better drivers/teams would get points for gaining ground and the worst teams would have clean air to get points by being one of the three fastest laps.

It needs to be something kinda convoluted like this to make for something different and exciting. Just lining up and racing a mini race before the race doesn't do much for me.

These sprints are absolutely brutal to watch. I say one qualifying round and let the chips fall where they may…

George got the jump, pressed him in T1, kept the pressure on in T2 and ended up making contact. Verstappen should have backed out (of course) but didn't and picked up damage. Not like dude ain't got the fastest car by at least a second. He could have conceded the position and took it back when DRS was enabled.

Good. First corner incident probability tomorrow just increased exponentially
