Greizmann easily one of the signings of the season after a rough first 2 months adjusting to Simeone's system.....kids a baller. Another stand out performance from him & Suarez with Turan putting in a MOTM shift in extra-time.

Less said about my Arsenal the better, have been :yeshrug: with our Groundhog Day seasons for the past few years so unfortunitely no shock there with the result. Cue "mental strength" bullshyt qoutes from the players/manager that could be cut & pasted from any of the last few Champions League exits:snooze:

Should have battered Monaco really. They weren't all that, we just fukked about in the 1st leg. I just hope we gel properly, don't lose any players we need to keep and sign Morgan Schneiderlin. Get a more defined strategy going and we should be OK IMO.

Agree on Griezmann. One of the most intelligent and dangerous players in Europe. I heard criticisms about his build-up play when people were talking about whether to sign him or Carlos Vela, but it's an underrated facet of his game.

thats what Arsenal fans been saying at least 5 years but nothing happened. I thought with the signing of Ozil and Sanchez finally they could get back at the top but at this point you need to lose Wenger. At this point its not the players anymore but the coach breh. 10 years and only a FA cup at any other club would have heads cut.
With this material Monaco wouldnt have to be a problem.

having three top 10 players in ur starting XI goes a long way :wow:

Most of City's key players are getting old. they peaked 4 years ago. They won the title last year but Liverpool played better football. And both times they won the title b/c the team ahead of them cough it up.

Really love how Barca plays with Luis Enrique as coach. They pass to attack, not to dikk around and just hold possession like last year, and they hustle too.

Yeah. Transition is never easy in football and they've been in one since Pep left. They are very expansive and quick on the counter - they look more vertical than before. Under Pep, they'd overload one part of the pitch and then switch it very quickly. Xavi was perfect for that.

Messi is out there putting on a clinic, Barca look VERY strong right now.
