Rudi Garcia is the common denominator at Roma and Lille, who somehow gets the best out of him. His best performance for Ivory Coast was the ACON 2012 and he ended that competition by missing the last penalty giving Zambia the title. He isnt a bad player, but by no means is he some kind of game changing superstar. For his age, he is what he is. A direct winger, with a little pace, some tekks, and absolutely no bit of quality when it comes to striking the ball.

He's been doing well for their NT for a while, he's a consistent standout player for them. Was probably their best player in ACON 2013 as well. I didn't say he's a superstar but breh is a quality winger. Garcia obviously does well to bring the most out of him but it isn't black magic. Don't agree that his Arsenal performance was reflective of what he's capable of.

His main attacking job was to cross the ball in and he was god awful at it

95% of the time he'd either think too much, take too many touches and then blast the ball into the defender as a last ditch manuever to get a corner or he'd whip the ball into an area where noone was


I don't even know why wenger made crossina a main attacking route when we can't head the ball in the offensive area for sh1t


And btw, how many assists did sagna get whilst crossing? I wanna see the receipts

Only time Sagan was consistent with crossing was this past season and perhaps his first season iirc

Other than that he was really lackluster, even Jenko was putting in better crosses than Sagan for a minute there, but Sagan is light years ahead defensively so his spot was never in jeopardy.

Fabregas in his original Pep inspired role . I'd be gutted if he goes anywhere else this summer. Defensively its lacking, but we'll do the Liverpool route. Outscore everyone.

Yup, always played with his head down. He looks a different player at Roma though. I would've kept him for depth/change of pace.
