Sport does reflect society. And I think most of us can agree that society in recent times isn't particularly fun or joyful especially the last 5 years. Which funnily enough coincides with sports becoming more boring more systematic.

Slot didn’t have to do much coming in after Klopp to be fair. Arsenal had and still has a lot of holes in the side and while I haven’t been impressed with his recruitment lately Arteta did change a lot to be competitive again

Facts. Respect to Slot. not taking anything away from the job he has done this season, But people need to stop acting like the core of this Liverpool side isn’t a Premier League and Champions League winning team.
The belief that Slot winning the league in year 1 reflects poorly on Arteta is foolish. Slot is about to have as many league titles with Liverpool as Klopp… so does that make him equal/superior to him?

In fairness, Slot walked into a fully furnished pied a terre in Manhattan, Arteta inherited section 8 housing in Bushwick next to a trap house. Artetas done an admiral job all things considered.

90% of u motherfukkers barely had pool in the top 4,new manager that was not considered prior to coming to Liverpool a top manager , is gonna win the league is massive..
All season talking about we gonna collapse,we are not impressed blah blah just to lose the tittle by double digits... Btw slot only rates like 13 to 15 of these players, ( and so do I) so the fact he can get this much outta 13 players or so is great..prior to today u arsenal fans would probably only take Salah,from our squad,not even Virgil,Cuzz I've heard saliba is better nonsense.now we had this super duper team, take ur L and focus on psv

when i was calling for us/MU to get a macallister-like player mandem told me mount was better.
i said casemiro, ugarte were not going to control games before we bought them ... and they cannot. so we are still waiting for that.
with amorim we might not need that controller if penetration is going to come from the wingbacks + the #10's (one is bruno) + passing CBs who step up. just two mobile strong midfielders.
not sure how that can lead to protracted domination of the better teams but will wait and see.
