The wages aren't the problem it's the contract lengths they are on. It basically keeps the players at the values they paid for them and Chelsea will ask for that.

The wages arent that high. The majority pf the high earners in the squad is in line with what Spurs Arsenal Liverpool pay their players £150-200k p/w. Only Sterling and James are the on £250k+ p/w.
