Watching Rangers in European games they were involved in too many shootouts. It didn't bode well when he would step up a level. Can get away with it in SPL not in the Prem.

Managing Rangers is like driving a F1 Ferrari or Mercedes. You’ve got the best vehicles so an above competent driver should be doing well.

Gerrard, just like Lampard, had the red carpet rolled out for a top job, whilst Vieira didn’t have similar luxuries and had to ply his trade and look at how it has paid off.
