Going off previous State Ownerships yes. Should it be? The team looking more like Eddie Howe team at Bournemouth. But he does deserve the chance to try and put it right. Will he? probably not. But due to them being under manned for most the season. And back in Oct/Nov when they were playing game in game out with the same 13-14 players killed their season. The wear and tear finally caught up with them. And the style Eddie has them playing has a short shelf life.
Also they've had like the worst cup draws. The easiest team they've played was Michael Beale coached Sunderland. Newcastle overperforming last season jumped their timeline up by a 2 seasons.
But the reality is No one cares about Newcastle like that. What's there history? Losing and winning the Championship after being relegated. Now compare that to the other top 6 clubs. Arsenal Chelsea and Spurs are fighting for London. Yanited and Citeh fighting for Manchester. Liverpool fighting everyone else because they aren't liked for various reasons. Too much rivalry history between those 6 clubs. Arsenal Yanited Liverpool goes back decades to the 60's-70's. Liverpool and Manchester hate each other due to politics back from the 1800's. We talking deep hatred rivalry that has been passed down from generations.
