Am I the only one that doesn't care about any of these awards?

I usually don't care that much but Benzema winning is big in France due to the fact that for years he was blackmailed by the french federation and the french government, on top of the general anti-Islam climate in France. And it just so happens that 17th October is also the day the french government killed hundreds of Algerians by throwing them in the Seine back in 1961, so that adds some extra significance to this particular award.

I think Ole has a better win average than Klopp over the first 50 games or first 100. But who's really building a team and playing good football.

That's not to say Xavi is or isn't a fraud.

Didn't know about that, someone did tell me French media would try to save face and whitewash over current unrest by giving Benzema his flowers (with that said he obviously deserved the award) but that's wild.
