Served a proper apprenticeship at a small club and didn't leave at the first eyelash flutter from bigger team. Basically spent 4-5 seasons perfecting gameplans tactics and philosophy before leaving. What Tuchel has over everyone else at present is that he is more flexible and doesn't have a one mode of playing. Chelsea ever since Jose first time around have always been a efficient team. Never played the most
football but know how to get results vs anyone. Tuchel is just following in Chelsea modern tradition.

I mean is your players are so well drilled in a certain formation that it continues to work even when the architect has left it still runs like clockwork years later
True. The players from Conte's time in the starting 11 today were all defenders (Azpi, Christensen, Rudiger) so they clearly know the system and it works for them. I wonder if signing Kounde would have given Tuchel a chance to play 4 atb.
