Considering where Rangers were financially when Gerrard took over, it's a bit more impressive than usual. Even with Celtic being an absolute shambles right now.

Apart from one Rangers/Celtic game when Brodgers was still there, haven't watched a Rangers game in the SPL. But going off his Europa league campaigns, he does seem to know what's he's doing.

What's bad about the buyback clause? As far as I understand it'd allow him to go back should he be for the move (forcing Tottenham to play/appease him during his stay). Sounds favorable for the player to me.
