Not fair to him. This team is relying partially on Championship players to win because they're under a transfer ban.

Mount might be solid in the long run, but if you have to start Tammy Abraham up top in multiple PL games, you're going to struggle.

They still don't have a 9 since they sold Costa to Atletico, their back four is shaky, and there's not much they can do about it right now. Chelsea fans should just eat the ninth place finish they're about to earn and save the hot seat for next year after Chelsea can actually buy some players.

Chelsea is going to be a god damn adventure this year. They'll look good in attack for like 20 minutes, then spend the rest of the match looking like a mess going forward and a calamity in defense. Having to play at least one of Christiensen and Zouma in their starting CB pairing is going to kill them, Abraham isn't close to ready, and guys like Kante and Pulisic can only do so much when the rest of the squad is some combination of old, shytty, or not ready.

Hopefully the supporters are punting on this year and waiting for 20-21 to properly evaluate Lampard. If they finish higher than 6th, it'll be a real accomplishment.
