I've read the article. It's just a hit piece, and omits key details. Before City were found to breach FFP, UEFA auditors met with City and went over the criteria, then a year later they changed the criteria. FFP won't hold up in court and UEFA knows it.
It's hilarious how this "oil money" is financial doping but when United out spent every team in England it's OK. When Barca and Madrid re structure TV deals so no one else in la liga can get any money it's OK. When Bayern treats every other team in their league as a feeder club, it's OK. When Abramovich bought Chelsea and injected record sums into the club, then voted for Financial fair play a decade later to prevent other people from investing in their team the same way, it's OK.
I don't think I'll ever convince you about how BS FFP is, but if they truly cared for any type of parity they'd instill a salary cap or a system like the MLS. But it's not about parity.
