As an admitted Liverpool fan, I definitely agree with this...especially on those cold Anfield nights when they play 10 ft tall..im really really impressed by Selhurst Park as well...atmosphere jumps off the screen..def on my stadium bucket list...in fact I think we play them next:merchant:

Selhurst Park is jumping. I live near there, on match days Thornton Heath/Selhurst/Norwood is a road block.

Those Holmesdale boys go off. :wow:

Claude is in mid season form :Denzel12:

Gooners are delusional to think they we going to hotbox with the gods in Citeh. :russ: 0-2 was LUCKY. LUCKY.

He's gonna be a problem

Once he gets regular time, he's going to be amazing. He'll be eating La Liga alive...its insane to see how technically sound he is, in the most technically sound country in Football. :wow:
But he DOES need to improve his passing in the final third...Once he hits the gym a bit and works on that he'll be unstoppable.

Ian Wright calling out racism :mindblown:...the world is upside down in 2018

Media racism behind Sterling criticism - Wright

Criticism of Manchester City and England winger Raheem Sterling is motivated by racism, says former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.

Sterling, 23, has faced frequent media disapproval, most recently for a tattoo of a rifle on his leg but also for purchasing clothes from Primark and buying his mother a house.

He was also criticised over his World Cup performances for England in Russia.

"How many people do you see get the criticism Sterling gets?" Wright said.

"The football criticism is something every player has to deal with, but what he gets I don't see any other footballer getting," former England forward Wright added on BBC Radio 5 live's Monday Night Club.

"They don't get that stick because for whatever reason they don't rub up the people in the corridors of power the wrong way. I think there is an agenda against him.

"There is an element of people at high end of the media who want to keep that guy down. Simple.

"When you look at the wave of criticism that he takes, there is a certain amount of racism towards it - what else can it be?

"They are picking on him because of the the background he has come from and they want to keep him down, drag him back down. They don't want him to continue to be a success.

"People say you are playing the racism card, but you give me a good reason why Raheem Sterling gets the stick he gets for just being a footballer."

Sterling received consistently low ratings on the BBC Sport website's Player Rater tool during the World Cup. His average rating was 4.66 - leaving him above only Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck.

During the tournament in Russia, Sterling wrote a blog post for The Players' Tribune in which he said he no longer worries about the media "picking on him".

But he's employed by one of the biggest culprits: The Sun :francis:

Going forward I’d like to see Arsenal start:

Leno (I get why Emery would start Cech first match though)
Angry Swiss breh (Bellerin was ok but I think Lich is better)
Sokratis (thought he and Mustafi played pretty solid)
Mustafi (back on top)
Monreal (only other options is to switch Lich or go with the Welbeck experiment that’s rumored)
Torreira ( #timefortorreira)
Douzi (breh made some mistakes but he’s not scared and I think his upside is higher than Xhaka)
Ozil (not a winger)
Auba (Laca has to play on this team and they have good chemistry anyway)
Laca (has to start
Mkih (need to buy a winger at some point tbh)

I’d be cool with Rambo over douzi but if he ain’t gonna sign that contract...
