Jese Rodriguez: Stoke sign PSG forward on loan

Stoke have signed ex-Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez on a season-long loan from Paris St-Germain.

The 24-year-old joined Real at the age of 14 and was part of their Champions League-winning squads in 2014 and 2016.

He joined PSG last August for £21m on a five-year deal, but scored just twice in 14 appearances before he was loaned to Spanish club Las Palmas in January for the rest of the season.

PSG midfieder Blaise Matuidi poses with Juventus gear at Turin airport as he flies in to complete £18m transfer
Blaise Matuidi has become the latest star to join Juventus with the club confirming his arrival in Turin to put the final touches on an £18million move from Paris Saint-Germain.

The club confirmed his arrival on their official social media accounts by posting a picture of the Frenchman holding a club scarf and wearing a Juventus cap along with the caption 'Just landed'.

Good pick up for Juve at a good price.

PSG are just hustling backwards. they really don't need that 18 million. Why sell him?

Do u follow football breh or do u just be in here saying shyt? You're the same dude who claimed cote d'ivorie don't play well as a squad but have yet to provide evidence to back up your claim. Blaise was sold because it is christopher nkuku's time to shine. How do u not know this? Blaise is on the wrong side of 30 while nkuku is only 19. he is also a PSG youth product and viewed as one of europes best young midfielders. Everyone at psg believes he is blaise reincarnated with his style of play and eventually he will be a better midfielder than blaise ever was. Why wait to give him first team minutes? Plus PSG is stacked in the midfield and are trending toward a younger side. Who should they have sold instead? Their vice captain thiago motta? Julian draxler? Di maria? Verrati?

CFC sold Matic for £40m in a market where players like Kyle Walker are going for £50m. :scusthov:

Lukaku was sold to Everton for £28m, and eventually sold on to Man U for £90m, meanwhile Chelsea are stuck with a £32m player that doesn't even want to play for them so have to overpay £60m for Morata. Some of the worst dealings in Chelsea's recent history.

Ever heard of squad rotation?:stopitslime:
PSG are playing in 3 or 4 competitions.
Do you even know about squad depth? You think Nkuku is a machine? He can get hurt, and what are you left with? You need quality on your bench my guy.
See how a big team like Madrid rolls...you see the depth in that midfield?
What if Nkuku flops, what do you do? He gets hurt, what do you do? Fixture pile up gets to him, what do you do?

And the Ivory Coast thing, for some reason I thought they got to the final by playing draws :hubie:
