I know how they work, it's just like FFP meant to keep the traditional teams in pot 1 and everyone else down...what has arsenal done in europe the past five years? Porto? What will happen is we'll get a group with a big team, finish second, get to the knock out stage and face another big team, coefficient improves slightly...Arsenal gets a cupcake group, gets to the round of 16 and flops again, status quo maintained.

Uefa coefficients are based on the last 5 seasons + the league's coefficient

You get the most points for making the Group Stage/Round 16

plus they add points from results (2 win, 1 draw, 0)

Arsenal has consistently been in the group stage/knockout stage.
